Fall Wedding Flowers

Fall is coming! Here are the flowers that will be in season!

As a base, look for big, bulky flowers such as

Sunflowers
chinaflowers.net

Dahlias
Kim Pokorny

or Garden Roses.
Down to Earth Blogspot

You can pair them and contrast them with

Calla Lilies
Oregon Coastal Flowers

or Gerbera Daisies.
Jane Edamson,

To round out the collection, use filler stems like

Solidago
Auburn University

Feverfew
Wikipedia

and Waxflowers.

Overall, aim for bold, warm colors and don’t be afraid to pull in other elements of plant life such as berries and vegetable and their leaves to celebrate this nature-centered season!

Like Pumpkins
El Rich

and Hypericum Berries.

What colors would you pick for your wedding?

In 2013-2014:
Shabby Chic & Vintage tones
with white, mint, peach, sage, coral, & rustic wood

In 2014-2015:
We're seeing Rich Jewel Tones

like emerald, burgundy, rust, teal, mustard, sapphire & ruby

Pulled from Kentucky Wedding Planners

Projection for 2015-2016
What is going to be trending next year? We think possibly neutral tones with hints of deep green and maybe some speckled feathers in there.
